My Thoughts for today

I WROTE THIS BLOG POST JANUARY 10, 2010 and never published it, but it remains true today. I am still with this company. Please read it, take what you need from it  and be be blessed-

All day I have been thinking , thinking about, well, everything. I am always talking about not putting your all your eggs in one basket. I am so right about that, 2009 has been a hard year for me. I was laid off twice. I am so blessed to have had the foresight to have built multiple streams of income. If you haven't at least started, take it from me, time is being wasted.
If you need a place to start, check out the Internet Marketer's Network. This is a business social network where you can review several different opportunities and find out more about them before you invest a dime.
I advise you to do your homework and be sure an opportunity is sound and you won't be stuck paying monthly fees and not making any profit. Of course you will have to work a bit before you start making money, but if it's been 5 or 6 months and your still in hole,it's time to try something else.

One of  business models I use is Strong Future International.  SFI is a great  way to build multiple streams of income, even though they come together into 1 monthly payment. The best things about this company are:

1) They give you step by step  instruction on how to become a success.

2) The information they share works for SFI and just about any other business you maybe involved in.

3) You can avail yourself of all they offer before spending a dime of your money.

Of course you understand that you can not make money without spending money, however, SFI give you tips to fit any budget. When I started with them in April of 2008, I had no budget to speak of. Since I did not have an advertising budget, I used all the free tips. This meant that I had to use more of my time to post ads and blogs all over the Internet. As soon as I could I brought business cards and doled those out to everyone I can in contact with and I even included them in correspondence. I want to let you know that I have been involved with many organizations, but SFI is the first company that paid me within 30 days of joining. SFI isn't the first company I tried, but they are the company I have been with the longest and they are the only company that I am still involved with to date. I do my own thing but stick with SFI because the continue to add more ways to build my income and I love seeing those direct deposits hitting my checking account every month.

Of course this is my experience, and that's not to say it will be your experience. However,  you will get out of it exactly what you put in. These are my thoughts alone. They are not promoted by the company in anyway, but I do invite you to check it out for yourself.

Life, a Precious Gift (Miracles Happen Everyday)

Life is beautiful, amazing, unpredictable and a gift from God. It is to cherished and enjoyed. Life is full of miracles. They really do happen daily. It is just that some attribute them to luck or fate, I say they are all from God. If you believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you will begin to recognize them and stop and give thanks for His goodness and mercy. I believe that to help each other to recognize the goodness and mercy of God, we must share our experiences. Today I will relay to you the reader, the last miracle I experienced.

On August 8, 2014, I was on my way to my Aunt's funeral. I had to travel about 50 minutes so I was on Interstate 97 heading for Glen Burnie, Md. On this particular stretch of highway the speed limit is 65 miles per hour. As you might imagine, at 10 am in the morning, there was not a lot of traffic, thus I am sure all were traveling a bit faster than 65 mpg. I think I was at 75 myself and the car ahead of me was not that close. I was in the right lane and I remember that there was a small white compact car in front of me. In the left lane, about 3 cars ahead of me was a Cadillac. I  noticed because I saw it sway out back and forth and then spin around to face us. and it was coming head on. Myself and the white vehicle in front of me hit the brakes. The Cadillac came to stop half on the shoulder and have in our path. The miracle was not that we all stopped in time but that we stopped dead in our tracks with no skidding. At the speed we were traveling, this is not a likely scenario. It was the hand of God that stops our vehicles so suddenly. No evidence that we were speeding. After Thanking God for saving us all. I proceeded on my way.

As I continued, I noticed the white car was not yet moving and imagined the driver was a bit shocked since that car would have have the worst of it being hit from front and back if God had not intervened. I also thought about the headline if it had been a different outcome. I mean, how ironic would it have been to be on the way to a Home Going celebration and be joining your loved one because of something like this. Trust me when I say, I was so thankful and full to know the grace of god at that moment and the hours that followed. Even now weeks later when i think about this incident, my soul is so happy and full of gratitude, I am tearing as I type this recounting of my latest miracle.

When I told of this miracle to a friend, she said,

"God isn't through with you yet, you've got some more work to do!"

I think she was right and I stand ready to go where He leads me. I will not waste a moment. Life is a precious gift and I am so so appreciative.  I encourage you to continue to your personal relationship with the Father and stay on the path He has for you, for there is nothing small about it. Keep your eyes open for everyday miracles!

Everything In Its Time

This is a statement of how I am feeling right now. I am so grateful to God  for grace and mercy. I just have to take a pause and thank Him. I see how far he's brought me . Only I can know where my journey has brought me from, God knows the path I am traveling, I will continue to let Him and His Son, and the Holy Spirit guide me and I will continue to follow their  lead as to which move I need to make when. Doing so has not failed me so far. Hallelujah!

God won't Fail

Of course, I am so anxious to get started providing services to children. I really wanted to be ready to start at least for limited hours through out the summer with at least Dance and Piano lessons, Of course, everything happens as it is supposed to, according to His will on His timetable. This walk is certainly teaching me this lesson. I have no doubt it will all happen as God has shown me,  I am like a kid waiting for Christmas. I must be patient. I know there are still things to do and people to put in place and so I have to take a step back and let my Father do his thing.

Even as I am writing this blog, The Spirit  has brought to my remembrance, the childhood friend I ran into a year ago. I stopped to give him a call before it got too late and look at God! I might have a viable space to hold charity events to benefit Children's World of Music. I have a meeting next week with the Dance Program Director and he just happens to be a great manager/promoter. I am feeling so much joy as I finish this entry. God is so good to me, even when I am going through, I am smiling. I smile because I am happy. I smile because I am glad. If his eye is on the  sparrow, then I know He watches me!

What Do You Have To Give?

It’s been said that you cannot give away what you do not have. One of the most spiritual important insights or secrets in life is that you already have, and always have had, what you need to give away!

If you impart the message that ‘I am not worthy’ the universe will send it straight back in many shapes, forms and circumstances. When we say ‘give me’ we are imparting this message. We are saying we think we need to get something to complete ourselves or prove our worth. Most of us are taught to live a life of gimmie gimmie gimmie – always striving, desiring, wanting, struggling. We do so only because we think that when we get what we want we will be fulfilled and esteemed by others. But it’s an illusion. We are all already complete and worthy but we cannot know it and experience it, until we give it away!

Only giving allows us to know what we are and what we have within. Ask the question – how can I serve? The intention to serve will point you towards what you need to give. If the intention is real it also generates the will. The most successful people in life are not go getters, but go givers!

Time Is Moving On

It's amazing to me that I haven't written since January and it going into the end of April, the first quarter of 2014 is over! Time is flying by. My 56th anniversary is fast approaching. I have not met my all my personal goals for this year, however I am pushing forward on both personal and professional goals. All I can tell you is I am not in control, I have let go and I am letting God do it his way because I know he only wants to prosper me. I am so thankful for all the wonderful folks he has put into place to help me on this journey.

He is so amazing and awesome and loving and his grace and mercy is what I am most thankful for. It's amazing how my attitude has changed since I decided to develop my relationship with my Lord and Savior. Things could not be working out any better.

I prayed for a connection to my local school board and low and behold, I now have one! It is so true as a believer, once you ask God for what you want and consider it done, it is so!!

I am sorry,  I had a different subject  to write about tonight, but I told you I let him lead and this is what he told me to write. Someone needs to know about God's grace and mercy.

Is there a difference between grace and mercy?

Yes!  Mercy is NOT getting what you deserve–the wrath of God.  Grace is getting what you DON’T deserve–the righteousness of Christ.

Could you imagine if we didn't have both? I would not want to live anywhere I didn't.

We just finished celebrating Christ's Resurrection this past Sunday. Christ came and died to show us mercy. He showers us in his grace daily.

We are discussing God's grace, mercy and more on Infect Truth which airs Thursday nights from 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm. The host is Brother Bass, His wife Troy and yours truly. Consider this your personal invitation. There is no judgement, just open discussion/communication. Join us and be blessed.  Dial in 712-432-0900 enter code 155879# when prompted. You can also listen from the website. If you shy, communicate in the chat room. We hope to welcome this week Thursday. Thanks for reading.

Transition

Wow what a powerful message I just heard from the Man of God, Pastor James Mason.  He explained that God does not want us to stop in the midst of our transition. Keep moving, keep striving and know that God is in control. He got this!

That message has gotten deep, deep within me, it has pierced my soul. I am in transition! I can't stop. Whenever your about to come out into your own, exit the storm, the enemy comes for you.

Yes I am being challenged right now. I know that no matter what it looks like at this minute. It's going be alright in the end. How do I know? I know because God says so. He will always let you know, but you have to listen and you have to hear. It was meant for me to hear the Preacher's message at the exact moment I heard it, at that exact point. He knows what we need and when we need it, even when we are not aware of it.

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Isaiah 41:10   Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Matthew 17:20  He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

I am encouraged and as such I encourage you to hold on, don't stop, keep striving, keep reaching. God has more for you. Wherever you are, know it is not you final destination.

Remember, He never closes a door without opening a window. I pray for you and for me and because I believe, I know, we will be triumphant!  Have a wonderful day -

Deuteronomy 31:6  Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Intuition

On Our Show Infect Truth, we discussed the attributes of Wisdom and what the Bible says of Wisdom. It was quite illuminating. However, there was also a brief discussion of Intuition, which is what I'd like to focus on here. First Webster definition of  Intuition is:

a natural ability or power that makes it possible to know something without any proof or evidence : a feeling that guides a person to act a certain way without fully understanding why
: something that is known or understood without proof or evidence

The Free Dictionary describes it this way:
1. a. The act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes, immediate cognition.
    b. Knowledge gained by the use of this faculty; a perceptive insight.
2. A sense of something not evident or deducible; an impression.

I read a writer once who wrote that their are five types of intuition, He referred to them as follows:

Prophetic, Intellectual, Heart, Gut, and Hand

However, this writer believes they are all one in the same.

Where does Intuition come from?
During our discussion on wisdom, it became clearer to me that intuition is something each of us is born with, placed in us by God at our creation and activated by faith and wisdom.

When I was younger, I would hear my intuition, but think I knew best or simply ignored it (which most of do) and those situations did have good outcomes. One day, after deciding that I would listen to that inner voice instead of doing it my way, I had a very different outcome. Through trial and error I have discovered that when I follow my intuition, I never go wrong and when I deviate from it, I mess up every time. Needless to say, I follow it always now, even when it does not seem to make sense.
I believe intuition is something that guides us through life to help us make good decisions and maneuvers. God looks out for us, but, if we would just lean toward his plan for us and not fight and stop giving in to our own egos, we would have a much easier time of it. Yes, God made us in his image, but it is up to us to develop a mind like his. This requires quiet time with him through prayer and meditation and the study of his word. This is where the wisdom comes from in the spiritual sense. It is good to have earthly wisdom, but we should be striving for more. We need spiritual wisdom to survive in both this realm and the next.

Here are some Wisdom references from the bible. There are many others but these are the ones we discussed: Proverbs 2:1-6, Proverbs 3:13-24, proverbs 4:5-9, Proverbs 5:1-2, Proverbs 7:4. Next week will continue our discussion with Proverbs 8:22-36. I invite you to join us every Thursday 8 - 9:30 pm est. on WDGP Radio.
